It opens Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 17:00 in the Mole in Ancona Vanvitelliana the exhibition with the works of artists who won the fourth and final edition of the Biennale Prize Artemisia, which will follow the awards provided the winning artists in the morning at 11.00 am in the Council Chamber of the City of Ancona in the presence of the authorities.

is to put in evidence that the current edition of the Biennale Prize Artemisia exhibition devotes a significant tribute to one of the most important Italian artists of the Second World War, Claudio Cintoli , which has been in the 70s facing a line of conceptual art. The protagonist of Italian art in the late Fifties and the Seventies, with her being restless, generous waist and was responsible of an artistic experience that has traveled the road to the hyperreal Dadaism. In this exhibition, perhaps for the first time, faced an almost systematic study of the production strictly figurative artist that has characterized the poetry and the work throughout his career. Recently there is renewed interest around the work and the figure of Claudio Cintoli which, in recent years have been dedicated major exhibitions.

Vanvitelliana Mole will be on display at a distance of figurative works from the artist's first sketches of the works painted in key hyperrealist the recent graphite drawings. The

catalog of the exhibition, curated by Stefano Tonti, Artemisia Editions, p. 152 in color, contains a wealth of images of works of the Biennale with artist biographies and texts by Silvia Bartolini, Andrea Bozzi, Loretta Fabrizi, Elisa Sellari. The critical essay on the work of figurative Claudio waist and edited by Paola Ballesio card and critical - about the artist is biographical Jade Simonetti. Published in the catalog are the artist's works on display at the Mole.

THE WINNERS OF


The Jury of the Biennale Prize Artemisia in 2010, held Saturday, Oct. 23 at the rooms of the Mole Vanvitelliana Ancona in respect of the technical-scientific in the notice of the Competition Award Artemisia BIENNIAL 2010, at the conclusion of the evaluation work has identified (among the finalists for the Section A and Section B for the finalists) Winner of the artist Award 2010 and the artist Artemisia Artemisia Young Award winner and the other artists of the respective Special Awards winners.

For the quality of work, research and interpretation of the figure, the jury has seen fit to award the prize Artemisia 2010 ex aequo to Paolo Di Rosa Lainate, (I) and to Anila Shapalaku (born in Durres in Albania) and resident of Urbino. It 'won the Prize for Young Elena Giustozzi of Monte San Giusto (MC).

The Jury of the Biennale Prize Artemisia in 2010, held in the week between 4 and 8 October 2010 at the premises of the Regional Fair in Ancona, in respect of the technical-scientific in the notice of the Biennial Competition Award Artemisia, 2010, at the conclusion of the selection work of all participating artists, has identified one hundred (100) artists among those reported in Section A and Section B.

Among these, the committee has identified forty (40) finalists who will participate the exhibition to be held from November 6 to December 12, 2010 in the exhibition of the Mole Vanvitelliana of Ancona.

Among these, the works after the trial started, the artist will be chosen winner of the 2010 artist Artemisia Artemisia Young Award winner (from among the finalists of the Sections A and B), and other artists winners their special prizes among all finalists.
